Join Keep Glenn Heights Beautiful and Trinity River Environmental Education Society (TREES) VOLUNTEER! As part of the Trinity Trash Bash –
Help us cleanup Heritage Heights and Heritage Lakes neighborhoods by picking up trash from 8:30 a.m. to Noon. Keep Glenn Heights Beautiful will provide trash bags and grabbers.

Have a couple of hours to spare on March 12? Looking for a way to make your community more beautiful and give back to your community!

Keep Glenn Heights Beautiful is hosting a volunteer opportunity at Heritage Community Park, 400 E. Bear Creek on March 3, 12 from 9:00 a.m. to Noon. Lunch will be provided for all volunteers. Volunteers will work together to pick up litter in the Wetland’s section of the park, clean flowerbeds, plant seeds, plant some small trees and lay a short trail with lining and mulch. Tree North Texas is the regional urban forestry initiative for North Texas. This initiative will be the largest tree planting initiative in the nation, with a plan to plant 3 million trees in North Texas during the next 10 years. Keep Glenn Heights supports this initiative and has all ready planted 11 trees in the community for 2011

1st Place Governor’s Community Achievement Award June 2011- KGHB was awarded a $160,000 Landscaping Project Award. This project will improve and enhance the I-35, Bear Creek Road exit and frontage. Project is in the preliminary stage and completion is projected for May 2012.
