Trudy Lewis has a decade of municipal experience including progressive roles with the City of Arlington working as a Project Coordinator in the City Managers Office, Revenue Enhancement Specialist in the Budget Division, and most recently as the Administrative Services Manager in the Police Department. She received Arlington awards of excellence in 2009, 2010, and 2011, recently completed Leadership Arlington, and presented at the University of Arlington Certified Public Manager program in 2009 and 2010. Prior to working for the City of Arlington, Trudy was a Housing Coordinator and Budget Analyst for the City of Irving.
Trudy has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Spelman College in Atlanta, GA, a Master of Public Affairs degree with a concentration in Public Management, and a Certificate of Nonprofit Management from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Trudy and her family have been residents of Desoto since 2006 where she served as the Park Development Corporation Board Chair and was a participant in the 2011 Desoto Citizens Academy.
