BEAR CREEK & HAMPTON ROAD INTERSECTION The long awaited construction begins on the Bear Creek Road & Hampton Road Intersection. This is a partnership between Dallas County and the City of Glenn Heights. Construction will take approximately ten months if there are no weather delays. The construction of the intersection includes a four lane, divided roadway with medians. The City believes this project will enhance the travel time in this area and help reduce delays at the traffic light. In addition to the roadway construction, there are new water and wastewater mains being installed that will accommodate future growth of the City. Please be patient during construction as traffic will be affected. Dallas County, JRJ Construction and the City have met to discuss how to facilitate traffic and reduce other inconveniences as much as possible. If you have questions, please call 972.274.5100 for assistance.
